If you would like to have a wimple made contact me. You will need to reserve time in my schedule. I work on only one wimple at a time and have dates blocked out well in advance of receiving materials from clients. You will be sent a workbook that will take you through the process step by step. It contains all the information and materials you will need, including a sample letter to use when requesting materials from family and friends.
Facts and Figures
It is best to begin the process of creating a wimple at least six months in advance of your bar/bat mitzvah date. This time frame allows you to send letters requesting materials to your family and friends, and receive those materials back to you. I like to review your materials at my studio about three months before the bar/bat mitzvah date. The wimple will be completed within eight weeks.
Each wimple is unique and individually priced. When I have a good understanding of what type of design you want, and how many pieces you expect to incorporate into the wimple, I will give you a preliminary cost estimate. An exact cost for the wimple will be given to you after your materials arrive at my studio and before I begin work on your wimple. The cost will vary based on the complexity of the design as well as the number and type of items to be incorporated.
A deposit of 50% is required before I start fabrication of your wimple. The balance is due after you receive the completed wimple.
